I was born in Vancouver, BC in 1946 and came to Manitoba when I was two years old. I
attended the University of Manitoba School of Art, 1964–69, obtaining a BFA Honours degree and my Certificate of Education through the Past Baccalaureate Program in 1993.
My work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally. It is represented in private, public and museum collections. I have received various awards from the Manitoba Arts Council including major awards for painting.
My work has elements of fantasy and has roots in my everyday experience and my love of nature. I interpret my experience in a style of art I have developed over the years with a strong interest in the art of societies that are in a close relationship with nature.
