Olivera Ristic was born in Aleksinac in 1971. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Pristina in 1996, and completed postgraduate studies in 2001.

Olivera Ristic has had over 4 individual exhibitions and has taken part in over 50 group exhibitions at home and abroad.

She has received 3 awards for painting.

Olivera Ristic is a member of ULUS (The Association of Serbian Artists).
